This is an innovative solution to trafficking and exploitation of girls in Cambodia. It offers leadership opportunities, training, mentorship, and educational support so girls at risk of being trafficked can build the skills and confidence to do remarkable things in their own lives and in the way that they work with other young women to be a sisterhood of Change Agents who are driving behavior change that protects their peers from online exploitation.
Modern slavery is at an all-time high with 50M victims worldwide, mainly girls & women, especially in Cambodia, where 1 in 4 teen-girls are trafficked, sexploited online, or abused. Girls here are especially vulnerable due to poverty, education-access barriers, & poor digital-safety know-how. Protection systems aren't coping, being under-resourced & reactive, while new exploitation pathways have emerged, driven by tech expansion & social isolation.
We believe the best rescue story is the one that never has to happen! We work alongside vulnerable teen girls to stop exploitation before it begins. Through mentoring, education, crisis support and leadership opportunities, we help girls stay in school, pursue further study or training and equip them to make safe choices.
In the long term, we plan to look back and see a generation of girls in Cambodia that was not only prevented from being trafficked, but also full of girls who were given the opportunities, choices and freedom to realise their potential.
