At Education For All Morocco (EFAM), we believe that every girl deserves access to education, no matter her background. For over 17 years, we've been providing access to education to ensure that girls across Morocco - especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds - can stay in school, build independence, and break the cycle of poverty. For over 17 years, we've been providing access to education to ensure that girls across Morocco - especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds - can stay in school, build independence, and break the cycle of poverty. In Morocco, over 50% of girls and women are illiterate, and thousands of girls are forced to drop out of school due to economic constraints, cultural expectations, early marriage, and lack of access to education. Many live in remote areas without secondary schools nearby, no safe transportation, and no resources to continue their studies, or they simply lack the specialist education needed to support their future independence and work opportunities. At EFAM, we are removing these barriers by providing safe boarding houses, educational centres, and scholarships - giving girls across Morocco the opportunity to learn, grow, and build their futures. Expanding Our Impact Across Morocco Our work began in rural areas, but today, our mission has grown. While we continue to serve rural communities, we now support a wider range of girls across Morocco, addressing: Geographical barriers - Safe boarding houses and secondary school access for girls in remote areas. Financial constraints - 100% free accommodation, meals, school supplies, and academic support. Cultural expectations - Empowering girls to break cycles of early marriage and financial dependence through education. Lack of university access - Scholarships and university boarding facilities, including ASJFR, so young women can pursue higher education. Specialist care & learning support - Educational centres, including Centre Malaika, for girls with Down syndrome and special needs, ensuring no girl is left behind. Transportation & infrastructure challenges - Providing safe housing near schools to eliminate long and unsafe journeys. New Projects Creating Lifelong Impact ✅ Centre Malaika in Marrakech - A specialised educational centre for girls with Down syndrome, providing academic and vocational training to help them integrate into society and achieve independence. ✅ University Boarding Houses - Expanding support for young women in higher education, offering secure and stable accommodation, including through ASJFR.
