"She was one of the first girls in her neighborhood to join the 'Let’s Read' initiative, a reading and empowerment program we organized at my home inside Zaatari Camp. During these sessions, we read a variety of books and stories, discussing the importance of education, building self-confidence, and facing daily challenges. We also conducted interactive workshops to enhance critical thinking, creativity, and social skills, along with educational activities to strengthen learning and teamwork.
Despite the hardships of displacement, harsh conditions, and traditional barriers, she avoided early marriage and continued her education, becoming a living example of hope, determination, and success, inspiring many girls in the camp.
Through our film project promoting education for refugee girls, we aim to create new opportunities for learning and empowerment, opening doors to a brighter future.
