Mangwara Primary School Building Project
We are excited to launch our building project at Mangwara Primary School, which includes a new classroom block and upgrading the teachers accommodation in 2025. A third of the learners at the school attend class outside in exposed temporary structures, which puts them at risk of harsh weather conditions, resulting in regular absences. The new classrooms will offer a comfortable indoor learning environment for all learners, ensuring a consistent educational experience.
Sponsor a learner with a back-to-school box for 2025
For just $100, you can equip a learner with a complete set of supplies, including stationery, sanitary pads, and daily school meals. This will empower them with everything needed for academic success.
Partner with us in 2025 to equip learners for success!

Completing the Teacher’s Accomodation in Maunga Village
African Bush Camps Foundation sponsored the construction of two houses to serve as teacher accommodation at Maunga Primary School in Zambia. The number of teachers at the school increased from 3 to 13 teachers from 2021 to 2024. 6 of the 13 teachers were residing in an unfinished classroom block. We are delighted to be providing comfortable and safe accommodation for the teachers who are delighted to move into their new homes.
This development ensures that the school retains the teachers and that the students will have happy and motivated teachers.
Empowering Learners and Teachers at Janeiro Primary School
African Bush Camps Foundation understands that education is critical for building long-term sustainable communities, this is why we are supporting the Janeiro Primary School in Lower Zambezi close to Lolebezi. We distributed school bags, stationery, books, and textbooks to the 500 learners at the school. Additionally, we provided sanitary pads to the school to ensure that girls don’t miss school due to period poverty.
Thank you for partnering with us.

Back to School Drive
We kicked off 2024 with a bang as we launched our back-to-school stationery distribution in Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. We distributed over 1,000 stationery packs and school bags to learners to ensure no one gets left behind. Additionally, we provided sanitary pads to the school to ensure that girls don’t miss school due to period poverty.
Computer Lab at Maunga Primary School
We have completed the installation of Wi-Fi for the computer lab in Maunga Primary School. The learners were so excited to be able to use the internet in class. With no cell phone network in this village, adding Wi-Fi increases the communication capabilities of the school. Additionally, learners can now access information online, do research, apply for school and funding opportunities and so much more.
Thank you for partnering with the African Bush Camps Foundation.
