Dear Supporters,
This has been quiet quarter for the GVI Trust in Laos! We have provided sponsorships to increase students’ access to future opportunities, and funded the salary of a local, female intern, helping her to increase her employability through practical experience in the classroom.
This Trust project is working directly towards UNSDG4: Quality Education, by increasing the number of trained teachers in developing countries.
The GVI Trust has also contributed in working towards UNSDG5: Gender Equality, by providing the salary of our female NSP, Miss Tarn, who has spent several months building skills in English, teaching, computer competency, translation, and more recently: presentation. These are all incredibly marketable skills, and will hopefully help her to seek gainful employment in the future.
Overall, The GVI Trust has helped to fund projects working towards increasing access and quality of education in Laos. Thank you all so much for your individual contributions towards helping us reach our goals!
