As Afghanistan endures yet another harsh winter and a deepening humanitarian crisis, hope can feel distant, even for us. But then we hear this:

This flexible funding is especially valuable at this critical time, as winterization and healthcare needs remain urgent for the families we serve. This is the message we received from our long-term, Afghan-led partner receiving a grant from our Afghanistan Emergency Fund.
It’s a reminder that without your generous commitment to helping Afghans in need, Zuhra’s work would be even more challenging. Because of you, the Afghanistan Emergency Fund supported two grants to high-impact and community-led nonprofit partners at the forefront of the crisis in Afghanistan.
