Our program works to change the way the youth think about the world and the role they play in it. The goal is to bringing back balance, instilling understanding of give and take with the world. With our carefully crafted exercises, they learn they can have meaningful exchange, including with nature.
We have engaged with young people in underprivileged areas who often lack the opportunity to participate in additional school programs. Thus far we have carried out a pilot program in a school in the Eastern Cape and we are now working with 13 to 14-year-old learners in the KwaXimba area.We will be implementing the program in numerous schools south of Durban, to bring the course to over a thousand young learners. The results thus far have been nothing short of spectacular.
