AfterSchool Tutoring for PACOs Children Home

The "AfterSchool Tutoring for PACOs Children" project consists of extracurricular activities that allow boys to reinforce what they have learned in class, complete their homework, and continue developing skills to increase their future opportunities.

During the third quarter of 2025, 30 boys and teenagers participating in "Casa PACO (PACO Home)" engaged in the following activities after school:

• Recreational activities, physical education, and soccer practice focused on values such as respect and non-violence
• Individual and group social guidance for healthy coexistence
• Promotion of reading and environmental awareness
• Non-formal education in arts and crafts and computer skills

Our children and teenagers greatly enjoy leisure and recreation, interacting in safe environments, and reinforcing their learning. In mid-August, they took trips to the Teotihuacan Pyramids and historical museums in Mexico City. In the afternoons, they participated in extracurricular activities centered on social interaction and play, respectful soccer practice, and physical activities that foster a safe and positive relationship among the participants. The weekly arts and crafts workshop continues, and they receive daily support with their homework. Starting at the end of September, we receive weekly environmental education from both a public agency and a private organization. In October they had a cookie-making workshop, another on human rights, and happily we promoted recreational activities for Halloween and Day of the Dead.

At Casa PACO, we restore and guarantee the rights of boys and adolescents to generate social change.

El proyecto “AfterSchool Tutoring for PACOs Children (Tutorías Extraescolares para los Niños de Casa PACO)” tiene por objetivo realizar actividades extracurriculares que les permitan reforzar lo aprendido en clase, realizar sus tareas y desarrollar más habilidades para incrementar sus oportunidades futuras.

Durante este tercer trimestre de 2025 30 niños y adolescentes participantes en Casa PACO realizaron después de asistir a la escuela:

• Actividades lúdicas, de educación física y práctica deportiva de fútbol con valores como el respeto la no violencia
• Orientación social individual y grupal para una sana convivencia
• Fomento de la lectura, el cuidado del medio ambiente y
• Educación no formal en manualidades y computación

Nuestros niños y adolescentes disfrutan mucho del esparcimiento y la recreación, convivir en entornos seguros y reforzar su aprendisaje. A mediados de agosto realizaron paseos a las Pirámides de Teotihuacán y a museos históricos de la Ciudad de México. Por las tardes realizaron actividades extraescolares centradas en convivencia y juego, prácticas de fútbol respetuoso y actividades físicas que promueven un vínculo seguro y agradable entre los participantes. Continúan las actividades del taller de manualidades semanalmente y diariamente se les apoya en su elaboración de tareas. A partir de finales de septiembre recibimos semanalmente educación ambiental tanto de un organismo público y una asociación privada. En octubre tuvieron un taller para hacer galletas, otro de derechos humanos y felizmente fomentamos actividades recreativas para Halloween y Día de muertos.

En "Casa PACO" restituimos y garantizamos los derechos de niños y adolescentes para generar cambios sociales.
