Our Community Is Sustained by You

Dear Achvat Sustainers,

We closed 2025 with full hearts and a lot of gratitude for the members in the Achvat Amim community–participants, alumni, and supporters alike. We were energized to reach so many alumni in our end-of-year phonathon in November and it renewed the motivation to keep the alumni community connected. But more on this in 2026….Thank you for answering the call (both literally and figuratively) and continuing to support this movement.

With your contributions we were able to raise over $25,000, positioning ourselves to receive the incoming spring cohort with the necessary resources to support their experience. Please know that your recurring support is the backbone of all of this. It’s what allows us to keep our doors open, plan ahead responsibly, and show up for our partners and participants even when times are uncertain. We are so grateful.

There is a lot happening on the ground here. Our Fall Cohort is concluding in just a few days. While we are sad to see them go, we are excited to see what they will accomplish: three are moving on to participate in CJNV’s Hineinu program, one is off to rabbinical school in California, two are is continuing to work at their volunteer placements (Satyam and +972), and the others are actively eager to continue to engage in solidarity work both in Israel, Palestine, and abroad.

We have also welcomed 18 participants to our Winter 3-week Cohort in partnership with Rabbis for Human Rights. It’s hard to believe they too will wrap up in just 5 days. They have had busy days filled with political education, seminars, workshops, and visits to the field with RHR–sleeping over in Umm Al Kheir, tree planting in the Jordan Valley, and even a few participants joining a shabbat of protective presence with Bnei Avraham.

Thank you again for making our programs possible.

Wishing you a happy and healthy new year!

The Achvat Amim Team
