Leadership Update & 2025 Campaign Preparation

By Chhunnay Bin | Partnership and Development Coordinator

Dear Community supporters,

We’re excited to share a quick update from our PEPY Alumni Association!

Recently, the Alumni Leadership Election was successfully conducted, selecting three new leaders to guide the PEPY Alumni community from 2025 to 2027. We are excited to announce our newly elected governance: 1.  Mr. Ou Ten – President, 2. Ms. Dong Krim – First Vice President, and 3.  Ms. Keo Danin – Second Vice President. This change, in terms of new generations leading and strategies to engage more people in our alumni activities, introduces a new group of passionate and committed young leaders, eager to continue the mission of supporting scholarships for rural youth in Cambodia. Most of them are freshly graduated students from the PEPY Programs and have come back to show their love and support back to PEPY.

With new leadership in place, our Alumni are also restructuring some parts of our team to work more effectively. This fresh energy is already fueling preparations for our next big campaign, which will be the Annual Alumni Cycling for Scholarships 2025.

Building on the success of last year’s ride, which raised over $3,000, we are aiming even higher this yearWe intend to raise over $5,000 to support more low-income, high-achieving students in need. Alumni, PEPY staff, and current students are all planning and preparing for the 200 km bike ride, scheduled for November 2025.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the campaign progresses. Thank you for standing with us in creating brighter futures for Cambodian youth!

Warm regards,

The Alumni Team
