Introduction
Malnutrition remains one of the leading causes of child stunting, impairing physical growth, cognitive development, and overall health. In response to this pressing need, our organization has initiated a project aimed at providing 190 stunted children with a balanced, nutritious diet to promote recovery and sustainable development.
Project Objective
The primary objective of this project is to improve the nutritional status and overall well-being of 190 identified stunted children by providing them with consistent, balanced meals tailored to meet their dietary needs. This intervention is expected to :
Target Group
This project specifically targets 190 stunted children, identified through community health assessments and school screening programs. These children represent some of the most nutritionally vulnerable individuals in our care zones.
Planned Intervention
The feeding program will include:
Current Status
At present, we have completed all preparatory phases of the project, including:
However, due to insufficient funding, we have been unable to implement the feeding program. The delay places these children at continued risk of poor health outcomes, making immediate support essential.
Appeal to Donors and Well-Wishers
We are calling on our esteemed donors, partners, and well-wishers to support this life-saving initiative. Your financial contributions can directly impact the health, development, and future of these 190 children. The estimated cost per child, per month, has been calculated to ensure transparency and efficient use of resources.
Your support will enable us to launch the program without further delay and begin the vital process of nutritional rehabilitation for these children.
Conclusion
Feeding 190 stunted children with a balanced diet is more than a humanitarian gesture - it is an investment in the future of our communities. With your help, we can break the cycle of malnutrition and create a healthier, more promising future for these children.
