Assisting Children with Disabilities

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project assisting children with disabilities. Children with disabilities especially physical ones are shy and often does not mingle with their peers. Those from poor families are doubly disadvantaged because of the perennial lack of food and money in order to but basic home necessities. The need to help children with disabilities and their families is very important. We continue to link with government agencies and other non profit to provide help. For example there are organizations that help cleft-lip palates and we coordinate with them to help children in this condtion. This reporting period we focus our support to increasing food supply for nutrition and income via vegetable gardening and the growing of bananas and legumes. We were able to help 70 families in this manner. Again thank you very much for your help.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for supporting our initiative assisting children with disabilities. This reporting period we focus our support to the provision of low-cost sanitation for children and their families. There are families who has children with disabilities that have no sanitation and this is a double burden to the child and to all family members. There is a need to support the provision of safe sanitation and we are promoting low-cost systems that local farmers can construct with much of the materials coming from their own sorroundings. Your support to this initiative is very much needed. Hoping that you will continue to donate. This reporting period we are able to construct 3 toilets and hoping that we will be able to construct more in the coming months. Thank you very much.
