Providing support to those in need!

By Christine Cronin | Executive Director

Thank you to everyone who has provided financial support for this work. Your generosity is contributing to something tangible—your support is actively changing lives.

Right now, AWB Netherlands operates two active clinics, while continuing to build partnerships that allow us to reach even more people in need.

  • COA Schagen, one of our permanent clinic locations, operates every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 2:00–4:00 PM. Located in North Holland, COA Schagen serves as a refugee asylum center—providing a vital point of care for individuals navigating displacement and uncertainty.

  • Rasom, Haarlem hosts a clinic once a month on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. As a Ukrainian cultural center in Haarlem, Rasom offers free acupuncture clinics focused on helping patients build their resilience—supporting them as they begin to safely unravel trauma and be able to move forward.

The need for this work continues to grow. AWB Netherlands is actively recruiting new team members so we can expand our reach and open additional clinics. One practitioner beautifully captures the impact of these clinics:

“What I find special every time is how people enter—tense, sad, with their face closed—and how they leave after half an hour—lighter, calmer, sometimes even smiling.”

So many people are carrying stories no one sees. Trauma often goes untreated not because it is invisible—but because safe, compassionate care is inaccessible.

Your support makes these spaces possible. With continued funding, we can sustain our existing clinics and expand into new locations—ensuring more people have access to trauma-informed care when they need it most.

Thank you for all you do to make the world a more compassionate place!
