The “Mision Huascaran” team wishes you and your loved ones find themselves in good health. These times are still challenging in Peru, but we face them with optimism and a lot of positive energy. We continue to advance with our healthcare project. We would like to share our progress and say thank you for all the support.
Actions accomplished
In the months from October 2024 till March, we realized 42 healthcare campaigns with our mobile health posts in which we attended 7.433 persons, giving them access in their remote Andean villages to 100% free-of-charge and high quality specialized healthcare services offering up to 7 medical specializations in remote and rural areas where normally not even a general MD is available. Our mission remains to provide access to basic healthcare for all people.
We closed 2024, with over 20 thousand medical attentions, people from +200 remote high Andean villages, these free-of-charge medical attentions included almost 900 ultrasounds. All this was possible thanks to over 1000 medical volunteers from the Ancash region, mobilized thanks to the interinstitutional agreements between Misión Huascarán and the regional healthcare authorities
