Bachelor degrees and jobs for at-risk Uruguayans

In August, we will welcome a new generation of students starting the FINEST program. This year, we received a strong response to our call for applications, and young people from across the country will join our programs in both hybrid and fully remote modalities, expanding access to quality education regardless of their location.

In addition, during the Sustainable Brands event, our Executive Director was invited to give a talk highlighting the urgent needs of the education sector, while also sharing ÁNIMA’s experience and the measurable impact of our programs.

Our students participated in workshops focused on job interview preparation, allowing them to continue strengthening their professional development. Career advisors and volunteer coaches shared valuable tools and practical tips to help our students approach job interviews with greater confidence.

Every step we take reaffirms our commitment to relevant, high-quality, and future-oriented education.

Learning at ÁNIMA goes beyond the classroom. In 2024, students took on quality apprenticeship, gaining real-world experience alongside their studies. And none of this would be possible without the 122 Training Companies that have opened their doors and shared their knowledge with them.

In 2024, 158 students joined our Baccalaureate program, and 94 became part of FINEST. Since 2016, we’ve had the privilege of working with more than 600 young people.

Every student’s journey is unique, but as a whole, their achievements speak for themselves:

• 96% successfully completed the academic year.
• 70% stepped into the formal labor market.
• 49% of apprentices found their place in Training Companies.
• 70% are continuing their education.

This year was particularly special for FINEST, as the first-ever cohort completed their journey. Their results tell a powerful story of growth and opportunity:

• 73% successfully moved forward.
• 69% graduated.
• 57% found jobs in the formal labor market.
• 76% are working and/or doing formative internships.

At ÁNIMA, we believe that real learning happens when there is well-being, a sense of purpose, and a strong community. ÁNIMA is movement. It’s the energy that comes from opening up to the world, growing alongside the business sector, and constantly reimagining what’s possible. Professionalism, a systemic perspective, and respect for each person we meet are the foundations that make this journey meaningful.
