To improve the learning environment at Irerero School in Cyaruzinge, the community fixed broken chairs and tables. Many of the children previously had to sit on damaged furniture, which made learning uncomfortable. With these repairs, the classrooms became more child-friendly and supportive for daily lessons.
New chairs like these were provided to Masoro and Kinyana villages to enhance the learning environment and promote hygiene. Other support included basins, mops, mats, and cooking materials, ensuring that schools maintain cleanliness and create a healthier space for students.
Proper hygiene in schools is essential for preventing illnesses and creating a more comfortable and conducive learning atmosphere. By equipping schools with these essential items, Irerero aims to instill good hygiene practices among students and staff, ultimately contributing to their well-being and academic success.
