Walls Go Up, Hope Grows Strong

By Gerbie Mir | Chief Operating Officer

The Walls Go Up as Hope Rises

We’re thrilled to announce that construction on the Shealy Clinic has officially begun!

With the help of talented interior design student Mia, the initial plans and visual concepts for the clinic were thoughtfully drafted, bringing our vision one step closer to reality. While some final touches may still be refined in the coming weeks, the foundations are firmly in place and the walls have already begun to rise.

It’s a proud moment for us all as we watch this space grow into a vital hub of care and healing for our animals.

But this clinic is more than bricks and mortar. It’s a promise. A promise to every creature that finds refuge here, that their wellbeing matters. That their pain will be met with compassion, their recovery with expertise, and their future with hope.

The clinic will serve as a dedicated space for medical treatment, rehabilitation, and quiet recovery. It will allow our veterinary team to work with greater precision and comfort, and give our animals the calm, clean environment they deserve during their most vulnerable moments.

How You Can Help

As the walls rise, so does our need for support. To bring this clinic to life, we are inviting sponsors and donors to help us equip it with the essentials that will make a real difference:

  • Clinic equipment for diagnostics, treatment, and daily care
  • Medicines and medical supplies to ensure every animal receives the care they need
  • An X-ray machine to improve our ability to diagnose and treat injuries
  • Office furniture to support our veterinary and administrative teams
  • Theatre furniture for surgical procedures and emergency interventions

Every contribution, big or small, helps us build not just a clinic but a sanctuary of healing.

We are deeply grateful to every supporter who has helped make this dream a reality so far. Your belief in our mission is now etched into every beam and brick. And with your continued support, we will soon open the doors to a space where hope and healing walk hand in paw.

If you or your organization would like to be part of this legacy, please reach out. Together we can build something extraordinary.
