Boost microbusinesses in Puerto Rico

En el mes de octubre iniciamos el tercer ciclo de Emprende Academy en Casa sin Fronteras.  Contamos con 28 jóvenes participantes de diferentes pueblos de la Isla.  Cada uno de ellos trae su idea de negocio y estamos trabajando en los diferentes aspectos necesarios para desarrollar sus empresas.  Algunos de ellos ya cuentan con negocios funcionando y otros están todavía en la fase de desarrollo.  Entre las ideas de negocio que traen hay repostería, barbería, vivero de plantas, servicios educativos, empresa de transporte, diseño gráfico, área de la belleza, productos agrícolas, facturación médica, confección y venta de productos tejidos, entre otros.  Un aspecto sobresaliente de los talleres y los jóvenes es que están muy contentos con los talleres de desarrollo personal que integramos a Emprende Academy a través de las Terapias Artístico Creativas.  Se expresan muy satisfechos de la oportunidad de trabajar aspectos de autoestima, inteligencia emocional y otros que les permite estar más seguros de sí mismos en su camino profesional y empresarial.  Agradecemos a todas las personas que contribuyen económicamente para que este proyecto sea una realidad y podamos acompañar a estos jóvenes a alcanzar sus metas.

In October we started the third cycle of Emprende Academy at Casa sin Fronteras.  We have 28 young participants from different towns of the island.  Each of them brings their business idea and we are working on the different aspects necessary to develop their companies.  Some of them already have businesses up and running, while others are still in the development phase.  Among the business ideas they bring are bakery products, barbershop, plant nursery, educational services, transportation company, graphic design, beauty services, agricultural products, medical billing, manufacture and sale of woven products, among others.  An outstanding aspect of the workshops and the young people is that they are very happy with the personal development workshops that we integrate into Emprende Academy through Creative Art Therapies.  They express themselves very satisfied with the opportunity to work on aspects of self-esteem, emotional intelligence and other aspects that allow them to be more sure of themselves in their professional and entreprenurial path.  We thank all the people who contribute financially making this project a reality, and we can accompany these young people to achieve their goals.
