We have a Borehole and water tank installed! Thanks to our faithful donors and supporters. What a blessing for the Harvesters community.
Next steps are bi-fold:
1. To run pipes to the agricultural farmland and irrigation lines to water the crops.
2. To run pipes to the completed building that has become the school for the first class of Harvesters students. Then equipment for water taps and runoff for the school site.
We need $6,000 to complete these two next steps of the project. The impact will be exponential.
With a reliable fresh water source, the agriculture program will accelerate to not only provide a level of sustainability for the feeding program, but also provide a greater diversity and surplus crops to sell and reinvest funds.
Additionally, running water at the school site will draw more students to the school, provide necessary water for masonry to construct additional buildings, which will allow Harvesters to expand capacity for the school and eventually build an orphanage for the most vulnerable children of the community.
Thank you all for your generous support.
