Now that the borehole, water tank and solar meter are in place Harvesters is moving to a new multipurpose phase of fundraising, which leverages the new water supply to support both the agricultural program and the development of the school complex.
Harvester's has secured a commitment from a donor to match up to $6,000 towards the following two projects:
1. Piping and hoses to run irrigation throughout the adjacent farmland. Plus seed, fertilizer, labor costs and security for the first harvest of the season. An experienced couple has been identified to lead the agriculture program. Total cost: $5,500
2. The building next to the borehole tank that will initially be used to house four classrooms for the school launch in 2026. To prepare the facility for the students, the building needs pipes run from the water tank, plumbing, sinks, toilets, and septic system. Total cost: $6,500
Working on these two plumbing projects at once will save costs and w move Harvesters significantly closer to self-sustainability.
Thank you for your support and prayers. Please help Harvesters meet this matching challenge.
