In Malham Camp for Orphans in northern Syria, young orphaned child Khaled lives with his mother and his sister Maryam under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. The family faces daily challenges in securing even their most basic needs — especially food.
With no breadwinner in the household, Khaled’s mother carries the full responsibility of caring for her two children amid limited resources and rising living costs. Providing a nutritious, complete meal is often beyond their reach.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to distribute hot meals of rice and meat to Khaled’s family. This was more than just food to ease hunger — it was a gesture of solidarity and compassion that lightened their burden and reminded them they are not alone in facing hardship.
These warm meals brought smiles to the children’s faces and gave their mother a rare moment of relief in an otherwise uncertain reality. Your generosity does more than provide nourishment; it restores hope to hearts worn down by crisis.
