Dear Donor
a small corner of Kufra Camp in northern Syria, the young girl Sara lives with her family in a simple tent that has become their home after years of displacement and hardship.
Sara’s family, like many others in the camp, relies heavily on humanitarian assistance to meet their daily needs. Life in the camp is extremely difficult, especially with the rising cost of food and the lack of stable work opportunities. Despite these challenges, the family continues to hold on to hope while trying to provide what they can for their children.
Sara, who is still in the early years of her childhood, is growing up in a reality very different from that of many children around the world. Instead of worrying only about school and play, she often witnesses her family’s daily struggle to secure enough food.
During one of our field visits to the camp, and thanks to the generosity of our donors, our team was able to distribute fresh bread to Sara’s family, as part of an initiative aimed at supporting the most vulnerable families and easing their daily hardship.
What may seem like a simple item—bread—represents an essential source of food for families living in the camps and forms a vital part of their daily meals.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors who made this humanitarian effort possible. Your support helps bring comfort and relief to children and families living in the camps of northern Syria.
