Dear Donor
Following the preparations made earlier by our team, we were honored to welcome the sanitation workers of Souran Municipality in northern Syria to a special community Iftar gathering organized to recognize their dedication and daily service to the city.
As the time for the evening meal approached, the workers began arriving at the venue where our team warmly greeted them and expressed sincere appreciation for the important work they carry out every day despite challenging circumstances. The guests were invited to take their seats at tables that had been carefully prepared with meals, dates, water, and side dishes.
At sunset, everyone gathered together to share the meal in a warm and respectful atmosphere that reflected a strong sense of community and appreciation. Many of the workers expressed their gratitude for this gesture, noting how meaningful it was to be recognized and welcomed in such a thoughtful way.
This initiative was organized to acknowledge the essential role sanitation workers play in keeping their community clean and healthy, and to offer a moment of appreciation for their continued dedication.
