Dear Supporter
Amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by thousands of children in displacement areas in northern Syria, orphaned children remain among the most vulnerable. Many of them are forced to face life after losing the family’s primary breadwinner. With limited resources and rising living costs, many mothers struggle to provide their children with even the most basic necessities in environments lacking stability and opportunities.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable groups, our humanitarian teams provided a financial sponsorship for the orphaned child Sara, who lives with her mother in one of the displacement camps in northern Syria. Sara lost her father during the difficult events that affected the region, which had a profound impact on her life and the life of her family. Since then, her mother has carried the responsibility of supporting the household and meeting their daily needs on her own.
This financial sponsorship has helped ease part of the financial burden facing the family by assisting them in securing essential needs such as food, clothing, and other basic necessities. It also provides Sara with a greater sense of stability and support, allowing her to continue her daily life under somewhat improved conditions despite the many challenges surrounding her.
Orphan sponsorship programs represent one of the most meaningful expressions of humanitarian solidarity with children who have lost their caregivers. They provide hope and reassurance to these children, reminding them that there are people who care about their future and are willing to support them on their path toward a better life.
We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the generous donors who support these humanitarian programs. Through their kindness and compassion, assistance continues to reach orphaned children who are in great need of support. We remain committed to continuing our work to reach more vulnerable children and provide them with the help they need to face life’s hardships.
