Bring Relief and Hope to Families in Gaza & Syria

Amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by many orphaned children in northern Syria, our field teams continue working to support the most vulnerable families—especially mothers who carry the responsibility of raising their children after losing the primary provider.

One of these children is the orphan Hazem, who lives with his mother in Mulham Village for Orphans in northern Syria. Hazem lost his father during the tragic events that affected the country in past years, leaving his mother to face the responsibility of raising him alone under challenging economic conditions.

Hazem’s mother relies heavily on humanitarian assistance to help meet her son’s basic needs, including food, clothing, and other daily necessities, particularly as employment opportunities remain limited and living costs continue to rise.

Through our Orphan Sponsorship Program, our team delivered financial sponsorship support for Hazem to help his mother provide for his essential needs and bring a measure of stability to their daily lives. Hazem’s mother expressed her heartfelt gratitude for this assistance, which helps ease some of the burdens she carries and gives her hope for a better future for her son.

Orphan sponsorship represents more than financial support—it is a humanitarian commitment that helps children who have lost their fathers live with dignity and feel supported by a caring global community.
