This project intends to provide 3 boll hole water points to Mahole village with over 8000 inhabitants & several surrounding villages suffering for many years with just one water point. Your generous donation will not only bring more water points to this community but it will equally Save Lives.
Water scasity has been a mojore problem in this community for a long time. Climate change has been one of the several reasons for water shortage. With just one water point, serving over 8000 inhabitants before 2017, and with the influx of IDPs & strangers from other areas which has roost population to about 12000 in 2022. This has triple the demand of water, and of course let to increase of health problems resulting to several deads due to cholera etc. People tricking for about 3.5km.
This project intend to provide 3 bollholes, this will increase the water points to 4 instead of the lone water point which has providing water for long time to these communities. Access will be closer reducing distance for some. Clean portable water will be available for all, equally reducing the rate of health problems & deads resulting to poor drinking water.
This Mohole village is primary beneficiary, while the surrounding communities, passer-by, visitors and strangers will benefit indirrectly. A water project management commitee will be setup to manage the water points. Each community will contribute an amount that will be determind thereof, each month for maintainance for sustainability. This desision will be decided & agreed upon by villages invlve supervice by the administration & HUFAC .
