Lifeline in MAHOLE:Clean Water for 8000 Lives.

The HUFAC-CAMEROON project #60226, titled "Lifeline in MAHOLE: Clean Water for 8000 Lives," has made significant strides despite the challenges presented by the funding gap, having received $550 in donations. This contribution has allowed us to implement essential measures towards the provision of clean water, which is crucial for the health and well-being of the 8,000 IDPs in the community. We have successfully set up initial water purification systems, distributed water collection and storage containers, and conducted hygiene education workshops to raise awareness of safe water practices. These actions have already begun to show positive impacts, with community members reporting improvements in their health and a reduction in waterborne diseases.

However, a substantial amount of work remains to reach our overall goal of $40,000, which will ensure the full realization of our vision for MAHOLE. Additional funds are necessary to complete the installation of advanced purification systems, establish a sustainable water supply network, and expand our educational outreach.
