Progress Report

By Peter Kojo Amoabil | Project Leader

Overview

This progress report highlights the activities and impact of Rural Literacy Solutions during the current reporting period. Despite limited funding for expansion, we successfully continued our core programs at Kanvilli Nuriya Primary School, thanks to the generous support of individual donors.

Program Activities

Our primary focus remained on delivering effective literacy interventions through the following initiatives: After-School Literacy Sessions: We continued to provide structured after-school literacy sessions, focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary development. Moodlebox Digital Literacy Program: We maintained iiuuuuuthe Moodlebox digital literacy program, providing access to educational resources and fostering digital literacy skills among students.

Impact

Our programs had a significant positive impact on the students at Kanvilli Nuriya Primary School. We are happy to report that approximately 300 children from grade 1 to 6 benefited from our efforts.

Challenges & Opportunities

The main challenge this year has been limited funding which has slowed expansion. We are actively seeking new funding opportunities to broaden our reach and impact. Continued partnerships with local schools and community organizations will also be essential for sustainable growth.

Looking Ahead

Rural Literacy Solutions remains committed to its mission of improving literacy rates in rural communities. We will continue to refine our programs, seek out new partnerships, and advocate for increased investment in literacy education. We are confident that with continued support, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of countless children.
