We are delighted to share progress on the development of our games and sports field, an important step in creating a safe and vibrant recreational space for the young mothers and children we serve.
The field has been raised and stabilized with a layer of murram to prevent sogginess and flooding during rainy seasons. Grass has already been planted, providing a softer and safer surface for play. In partnership with the Kenya Forest Department, we are also planting fence trees along the boundary and fruit trees in a designated section, adding both beauty and sustainability to the space.
Looking ahead, with additional funding, we plan to install a soccer pitch and outdoor gym facilities. This will provide opportunities for physical fitness, mental well-being, and community bondingvital for the health and growth of the mothers and children.
We are deeply grateful for your support in transforming this vision into reality and invite you to continue journeying with us as we expand opportunities for recreation, healing, and hope.
