This photo shows one of the kitchen workers reviewing records of the porridge supply, which is freshly milled from grains like millet, sorghum and corn and delivered every two weeks.
Irerero Nursery School continues to offer porridge as a nutritious supplement to children after their lessons, benefiting those aged 6 months to 5 years in Cyaruzinge, Masoro, and Kinyana villages, as well as primary school students involved in the sports program.
This initiative provides a wholesome meal that boosts energy and supports overall health. By serving porridge at a key time, Irerero encourages healthy eating habits and ensures children receive the essential nutrients needed for physical growth and cognitive development.
