From Learning to Leading: Celebrating a Milestone of Dreams

By Wenning Liang | Senior Global Partnerships Specialist

Because of your generous support, we have empowered over 1,000 migrant workers to transform their journey in Taiwan from simple labor into an inspiring and worthy path. Your contributions—ranging from $10 for essential language kits to $60 for entrepreneurship coaching—provide the critical tools needed to break the cycle of poverty. By mastering financial management and linguistic basics, our students are no longer just dreaming of opening grocery stores or salons back home; they are actively building the necessary skills to make those dreams sustainable.

On December 13th 2025, we reached a significant milestone by hosting a heartfelt graduation ceremony for our migrant students. This graduation was not a full stop, but a celebration of their hard work and a gateway to their next chapter. We want to share this joy with you: the spark of curiosity in their eyes during class, the laughter shared with peers from their homelands, and the immense pride they felt while holding their certificates. Your donations have directly fueled these moments, turning classroom learning into the confidence they need to pursue their dreams with courage.

Your impact ripples far beyond the classroom. When you donate $150 to support a family’s financial education or $500 to train a community leader, you are investing in a legacy of independence. You are helping migrant workers return home not just as laborers, but as entrepreneurs and teachers who inspire their own communities. Together, we are bridging the gap between Taiwan and Southeast Asia, fostering a society that celebrates diversity and ensures that every hardworking individual has the chance to build a hopeful, stable future for the generations to follow.

We look forward to your continued support in 2026 as we strive to expand the impact of our Migrant School and touch even more lives.
