Dear donors,
We are very happy to tell you that thanks to your generosity in the last July Bonus Campaign we were able to construct a staircase and a storage room.
Due to previous campaigns we have finished the main floor and we have doubled the amount of children since we have the new building (we started with 25 children and now we have 50 children). We plan to have a top floor and increase the amount of children to 100, and that is the reason why we constructed the new staircase so that we can have more room upstairs. We also plan to put a new iron railing in the staircase. We have also painted the wall and door of the new storage room.
We were in need of more space for storage, so the new storage room under the stairs will be very useful to keep things. The coordinators of the playing center are very happy to have more room for storage.
Bancalari is a very poor neighborhood which is crowded with many families and children do not have any activities after school. The playing center protects children from all the violence of the streets. That is the reason why it is so important to have a larger place for them.
