Dear Supporters,
With our 54 scholarship students, it will be wonderful to have the Auditorium for student meetings, but we also dream of being able to provide new services to the community by having a comfortable space for meetings.
We have begun a sign language class, taught by one of our scholarship students, who is deaf and studying to be a teacher. Members of the community are taking this class, including teachers and a doctor. This class would be much more effective with the audiovisual technology that we plan on including in the Auditorium.
The rainy season has begun and that can create very uncomfortable conditions in the patio, with just an awning for protection. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to cancel meetings or the sign language class.
We are hoping that when this rainy season ends in November, we will be able to start building. Thank you for your part in making this dream come true.
