Yesterday I had a chance to visit theVerna House. I hopped on my motorbike and drove to South Goa Verna House. It's a beautiful building with spacious rooms, enough place in front and back for children to play. The structure of the house is very different, it is royal from any other six children's home of El Shaddai in Goa. As you enter there are two spacious rooms, office area, a staircase leading to an assembly hall and a room, the back door like a wide passage goes to the toilets/bathroom, Dining room and the kitchen. The balcony like outside is bordering an open space where children can play.
The house is already, the roof tiling, Painting, Carpentry and Masonry work has been completed. Electric and plumbing work is going to be done by the June month end. We are yet to furnish the kitchen and the house.
The house is empty and needs the furnishing and all the other household requirements so that the children have at least the basic things to live. The children are all excited and are ready to move in by next week.
It would be a great help if you could or ask your friends, colleagues to help El Shaddai buy Kitchen items, utensils and other basic needs for the children's home.
