In the mountains and valleys of Intibucá, reading has begun to bloom once again. From first grade classrooms to the final steps of high school, the 2025 Reading Program has sparked excitement across the department—strengthening not only reading skills but also leadership, critical thinking, and self-confidence in our students.

Every page read is a seed planted. Each story shared in the classroom opens a window to the world for our students. This program doesn’t just create readers—it shapes human beings with greater awareness, empathy, and a vision for the future.

Through the Kolibri platform and the books shared in PDF format, we are overcoming geographic and technological barriers so that all students have the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow through reading.

We are convinced that reading is a way to resist, to dream, and to grow. The 2025 Reading Program is living proof that when communities, teachers, students, and allies work shoulder to shoulder, an entire world of possibilities opens up.
