Can you imagine seeing the sea for the first time? Seeing dolphins swimming near you for the first time? Trying surfing for the first time? This is what our oldest boys experienced just a few weeks ago. After finishing their basic education the boys got treated to an amazing trip to Goa in India where they got to experience different lifestyle, playing football and volleyball on the beach with the local children, trying different food and spending quality time with each other.
And from most exciting news - 6 oldest boys found employment in Goa at beautiful, very good resorts. They will be starting in the summer with very supportive employers so they will be able to do their college remotely and then attend their exams in Nepal next April. The college starts in June this year so they are now preparing all the needed paperwork for their work, and those who will not be going to India are now looking into starting work in Nepal. We are so proud of them! Time really flies - difficult to believe that not long ago they were tiny children learning how to read and write.
We had a few more younger children joining our children's home so the home is full of laughter and new children getting used to their new life and school. Everyone is happily assisting with daily feeding and looking after the chickens and the garden. The home looks truly beautiful now.
A massive thank you to everyone who is supporting us - without that support, none of this would be possible. The boys who just a few years ago were living on the streets now have chances for a really great future. And most importantly - they got the childhood that they all deserved! Thank you!
