We can't believe another year has passed already! Our boys are growing older and wiser - and they are all very happy children, just as it should be. Some of our former volunteers raised extra money to make the boys' Christmas and New Year celebrations very special. And you should have seen the joy on their faces when everyone received new toys and other presents.
Just before the end of the year the nearby eye hospital organised eye checks for all our boys - luckily no major issues with any of our boys. We also finally managed to locate grandparents and an uncle of one of our boys and after very thorough checks we were able to link him back with his family. He is very happy now and we are checking on him regularly to ensure that all is going okay. These are very special moments when we can find families for the boys, even if they don't have parents anymore.
We had some terribly sad news in November - our amazing dog Chimpy passed away. He was a very sweet but also very mischievous little doggie - well known in the villages around us as he liked to explore and say hi to everyone. He will be really missed by us, our boys and by our other dog, Sharo, with whom he joined us 13 years ago from an animal shelter when they were both only 7 months old.
The boys keep improving our garden - we are very happy with the results and they can enjoy their organic vegetables regularly. Our chicken house needed repairs this winter so Subash put his amazing skills into use and all the chickens are now warm (it does get very cold at night nowadays) and we get a lot of lovely eggs from them!
Thank you so much for all your support. Thanks to that, all our boys are happy, healthy and are able to receive good quality education. Thank you!
