10,000 free treatments, going strong and expanding!

By Christine Cronin | Executive Director

In November, we reached an incredible milestone: over the past four years, Colectivo CARE has provided 10,000 free treatments to members of our local community. This achievement is a direct result of your generosity and unwavering commitment. During extraordinary and often uncertain times, your support has made it possible for this work not only to continue, but to grow. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you.

We are currently in our next three-year grant cycle, and Colectivo CARE—founded by Livity Rising, Integrative Healers Action Network, and Acupuncturists Without Borders—continues to expand in response to increasing community need. With your support, we are launching a new initiative this year focused on serving elders over the age of 60. This program is designed to reduce chronic pain, improve mobility, and strengthen overall well-being for an often-overlooked population.

In addition, donor support allows us to expand to include self-care education. These group sessions provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care and practical self-care tools that empower individuals and strengthen community well-being.

Our clinics continue to operate amid increased enforcement activity that directly impacts farmworker families. We remain flexible and responsive—adapting how and where services are delivered—to ensure clinics remain safe, accessible, and trusted spaces. Your support enables us to respond quickly and thoughtfully to these changing conditions.

For years, farmworker families have faced difficult working conditions, environmental health risks, and limited access to healthcare, despite being essential to our nation’s food supply. Colectivo CARE provides integrative health clinics that offer care without judgment, questions, or fear—care that many families would otherwise be unable to access. This is why your support means the world to us.

We are profoundly grateful for everything farmworkers and their families contribute, and we are honored to serve this resilient community with your partnership.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together—and we know there is more to do.

Together, we are building a safer, healthier, and more compassionate future for farmworker families.

Thank you for your continued generosity and belief in this work. We are deeply grateful for your support.
