ACTIVITIES FROM JULY TO OCTOBER 2020

IT CLASS

Launching of an annual scholarship program for the most academically-outstanding male and female graduating senior science students covering their university education in Nigeria, starting during the 2020/2021 academic session.
Organization of a training IT workshop for 120 senior students covering competence in Microsoft Office System in preparation for tertiary education and future careers.
Provision of Career Guidance and Counseling seminars for over 300 graduating seniors covering topics like:"Beyond Here and Now", You and Your Career Choice", "You and Your World".
Refocusing our STEM program into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) to give the students a more broad-based science education.
In addition to the two teachers already hired for Chemistry and Mathematics, we have undertaken the advertising, interviewing and ongoing recruitment of additional teachers for English, Data Processing, History, Technical Drawing and other Sciences.
In the process of starting additional STEM Clubs in Coding, Hydroponics and Mathematics.
Expansion of the facility upgrade, beautification and landscaping around the Science Block to prevent erosion.
