Dear Patrons,

Heartiest Greetings from the El Shaddai family. We hope that you all are doing well and are safe.

We bring to you our latest update about our children and the work we do.

The schools have started and the children are attending classes enduring heavy rain showers with their new raincoats and umbrellas. Various competitions were held for the children like singing, spelling B, and elocution competition in the school. The children were truly excited to take part in all.

On 8th July El Shaddai celebrated ‘Vanmahotsav Day’ at the school which means “the festival of trees'. The children participated in the programme with full enthusiasm. The children were taught about the importance of planting trees and there was a play depicting the effects of deforestation which was truly educational.

To celebrate the International World Yoga day, the staff conducted Yoga practices in homes and schools. The children enjoyed the yoga sessions as it taught them physical and mental discipline and how simple it is to achieve a peaceful body and mind.

Along with academics we also focus on extracurricular activities like dance and singing. We have a dance instructor who teaches our children various styles of dancing like Bollywood, hip-hop and classical. Presently our children are practicing for acts to be performed at the Independence day celebration on 15th August.

The El Shaddai counsellor visited the girl’s homes and had interactive games and the children performed songs and dances that they had learnt. Through these games and discussions, the children experienced a real boost in their confidence and self-esteem.

Every week all the children look forward for their swimming sessions which is a great exercise booster and a fun loving activity.

Through your kind support we have been able to reach out to more and more children who just require a helping hand. It would not be possible to achieve so much without your help and we extend our gratitude to you all for helping all such children and in being a beacon of hope in their lives.

Thanking you,
