Prevention of Child Abuse Awareness Campaign- Slum

The Day Care Shelters across Goa conducted a week long awareness campaign on prevention of child abuse. All the beneficiaries, parents and other children attended the awareness campaign. The awareness was conducted by the staff themselves, on giving the people knowledge about the various abuses being held on children’s whether it is in school, home or anywhere else.The main purpose of conducting this awareness program was to make the children and the parents aware of what does child abuse means, how it is caused and what one should do to help abused child or to prevent it. Information Leaflets were distributed in the slums.The main points highlighted in this campaign were
