Helping Children with Cancer Across the UK

Three months ago, we shared how your support was helping families navigate the shock of a childhood cancer diagnosis. Since then, 16 more children have faced that same lifechanging moment—and because of you, we’ve been able to respond immediately.

When a child is diagnosed, everything changes in an instant. Parents are rushed into hospital with no time to pack, no idea what the next day will bring, and a million unanswered questions. While the NHS does all it can on the medical front, it’s often overstretched. That’s where we step in.

With your help, we’ve provided care packs in those critical first hours—bringing comfort, reassurance and a small sense of normality. Our team has been there, sitting beside families, simply listening, holding space for their fear and hope. We’ve continued to offer professional emotional support, cover unexpected costs like travel and home adaptations, and provide respite breaks for families who desperately need a moment to rest.

Right now, we are actively supporting over 100 families. Your generosity ensures we never have to say “no” when someone reaches out for help.
