Meet Marjorine and Parvin, who we years ago together with their mum and their little brother Eddie. At the time they were abandoned by their father and their mother decided to move to Kampala to search for a better life for them. Their mother fought so hard to ensure they atleast have something to eat and at the time they had lost hope in everything and their mother was scared to see them end up like her.
Fast forward, these two came to Thread of Life were there hope and faith was restored. As an thread of life women empowerment, we can't keep calm for the far the Lord has brought them. This year 2025, they were able to write for their UNEB. Marjorine winding up with her secondary or high-school level of education (UACE) and Parvin is already finishing with her first level of secondary school (UCE: Uganda Ceritificate Education.). Marjorine will be joining the University next year 2026 in August when the University accademic year opens. She aspires to become a nurse so that she can help vulnerable people in the society who cannot afford good health care services. And also her goal is to be able to help her mother get a much more better life. Whereas Parvin will be joining her last level.of Secondary education and she will be reporting back to School in February 2026.
As Thread of Life women Empowerment Ministries we are glad to walk a mile with this family and see these young girls succeed in the education feild. As we celebrate this journey we attribute our Sucess to you our sponsors who have always come through for us when it comes to changing people's lives. Our goal still remains to.empower young girls with quality education so that they are able to acquirea good life.
Its such a joy to be apart of the the team that is creating positive change in the society.
As we continue to serve and pave way for hopeless families living in abject poverty, we still need more of your support to achieve our goal of keeping our children in school. On this note, all our I other children on child sponsorship were promoted to high classes. We did not register any failures as of 2025.
