Schools have ended the second term and will reopen in September. We continue to provide clean, filtered water to more than 1,400 students, teachers, and workers at Entebbe primary school, improving health and focus. The vocational and skilled center, which is planned to open in October, Will also have filtered water, supporting wellness for all learners and instructors.
Construction has begun on bathrooms with running water at the vocational and skilled center, laying the foundation for better sanitation and hygiene. Unfortunately, these bathrooms will only serve the vocational center for now, as we are still struggling to raise sufficient funds to build additional bathroom facilities.
Looking Ahead
We aim to complete bathroom construction before the next term, expand clean water access, and continue health education. The vocational and skilled center is scheduled to open in October, providing enhanced facilities for vocational students. Securing more resources to build bathrooms for Entebbe Primary School remains a priority.
Thanks to donor support, we are making tangible progress in improving health and facilities for our school communities, but there is more to do. We look forward to continuing this journey together to ensure a healthier, safer environment for all students and staff.
