What's the Big Problem?
Poverty: Many people don't have enough money for food, let alone doctors.
Not Enough Healthcare: Hospitals and clinics are crowded and don't have enough supplies or staff.
Diseases: Things like Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and COVID-19 are common, and people might not know they have them.
Lack of Testing: Without testing, people can spread diseases without knowing.
What's the School's Plan?
The school wants to become a "community health center," which means it will:
Test for Diseases: Help people find out if they have diseases like HIV or TB.
Provide Healthcare: Help with everyday health problems and emergencies.
Teach Health Classes: Show people how to stay healthy, like how to avoid spreading HIV or COVID-19.
Create Jobs: Train people to work in healthcare, which helps the community.
Why Is This a Good Idea?
Stops Diseases from Spreading: By testing and teaching, they can help people stay healthy.
Helps People Get Healthcare: It makes it easier for people to get the help they need.
Creates Jobs: It gives people a chance to learn new skills and find work.
Empowers the community: It gives people the tools to make their lives better.
How Will They Do It?
They need £10,984 to make it happen.
They are going to change their local school into a place where healthcare is provided.
In Simple Words:
The school wants to turn itself into a place where everyone in the community can get help with their health. They want to test for diseases, teach people how to stay healthy, and even create jobs! It's like turning the school into a superhero headquarters for health.
