Small but MIGHTY! Looking at what $500 can do...

By Tyrone Bennett | CEO of Action Change

Hey fabulous supporters!

I wanted to send a massive shout-out to the 10 donors who have backed this project so far. I know that in the world of big charities, 10 people might sound like a small group, but let me tell you—you are amazing.

You’ve helped us raise $500, and while that might not seem like a fortune to some, we have made it go a very, very long way!

The ripple effect is real Since our last update, we’ve used those funds to get our family planning and health awareness initiatives off the ground in a big way. The most exciting part? We’ve officially trained the teaching staff at our local schools!

These teachers are now running parent workshops after school hours, covering everything from family planning to general health awareness. Seeing the excitement from parents as they take control of their lives and their family's future through learning is exactly why we started this. It’s all about giving people the knowledge to make the best choices for themselves.

The road ahead If there is one thing we’ve learned since launching this project, it’s that the need is urgent. The more we do, the more we realize how many families are still waiting for this kind of support. We are still very much active and raising funds to expand these workshops to even more schools and communities. We aren’t slowing down!

Let’s double those "Small but Mighty" vibes! We have the perfect chance to turn our $500 momentum into something even bigger. Please save the date for the Little by Little campaign from March 17th – 20th. GlobalGiving is doing their 50% match on all donations up to $50, while matching funds remain.

  • Your $50 becomes $75.

  • That extra $25 pays for more training materials and workshop supplies for our parent meetings.

If our original 10 donors (and maybe a few new ones!) jump in during this window, we can seriously level up what we’re doing for these families. The funds run out fast, so set your alarms for the 17th!

Thank you for believing in us when we were just starting out. Let’s keep showing the world how much a small, dedicated group of people can actually achieve.

Stay awesome,
