The renovation of our Community Hub and Cafe in Panauti is nearly complete. Thanks to generous support, the building will be ready by October. Now, we urgently need your help to raise 25,000 to cover the first-year running costs and launch this not-for-profit, income-generating initiative. This starter fund will be handed over to Freedom to Learn Nepal, empowering the local team to run the cafe and hub independently, create jobs, and generate sustainable income for community programs.

Without initial running costs, even the most beautifully renovated space can sit idle. The Tamang community in Panauti faces high school dropout rates and limited access to opportunity. This cafe and hub will offer training, jobs, a safe space and generate income for our work in schools, but only if we can get it off the ground.
This campaign will provide the essential first-year funding to launch the cafe and hub as a locally managed social enterprise. The funds will cover fair wages for full-time staff, utilities, supplies and programming costs. The cafe will offer hospitality apprenticeships and serve as a vibrant space for locals and tourists. The upper floors will host workshops, advice clinics and community events. Every raised will help build a self-sustaining future for the people of Panauti.
