We usually save our construction projects in the schools until the end of the year so as not to disturn the children but when we had a group of willing volunteers join us a few weeks ago we thought we could give the school in Santa Maria a new lick of paint!
We have linked with a foundation in the US called Project Spark and after a fundraiser in New York they came down to visit the projects and to leave their mark!
They were a big team so they set about painting our school in Santa Maria as it hadn't recieved a lick of paint in two years! After a morning's work with bright yellow paint the school was looking much brighter, cleaner and smarter!!!
