Dear Friends,

As we close out 2025, we want to begin with the most important words we can say: THANK YOU. Your unwavering support throughout this year has transformed lives, filled empty stomachs, and restored hope to over 600 children in Kibera who depend on Project Elimu. Because of your generosity, we've provided thousands of nutritious meals and maintained our consistent food support program, ensuring no child in our care went hungry.

Every holiday season, Project Elimu continues our cherished tradition of bringing warmth, nourishment, and celebration to the children in our community through our Food Support Program. This December 23rd, we're hosting our annual Christmas Festival and celebration in Kibera, which will provide a special menu alongside a full day of activities including a bouncing castle, ballet performances, face painting, music, and for the first time ever, a visit from Santa Claus. For many children, this festive meal and celebration is the highlight of their entire year and we invite you to be part of it.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're also looking at the bigger picture of sustained impact. Your support, whether through a one-time donation to our programs, volunteering at events like our Christmas celebration, or joining us as a monthly recurring donor makes all of this possible. Every contribution ensures we can continue showing up for these children not just during the holidays, but every single weekend.

Looking ahead to 2026, your continued partnership will help us achieve goals that go beyond holiday celebrations to create year-round impact. Our upcoming new Project Elimu Center represents a significant milestone in our journey. This expanded facility will enable us to reach more beneficiaries, host regular meal programs throughout the year, and create a true community hub where children and youth can access comprehensive support services.

With your ongoing commitment, we can transform from providing occasional festive meals to establishing sustainable food security, educational support, and holistic care. From all of us at Project Elimu and especially from the 600+ children whose lives you've touched, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year filled with love, peace, and the warmth of knowing you've made a profound difference.

Kibra Rising and the Power of August Support

Dear Friends,

Our August Holiday Program is in full swing. From August 2nd to 24th, we're running our intensive 3-week holiday program, serving 800+ meals daily (both breakfast and lunch) to 639 children. While schools are closed and many families struggle to provide regular meals, your support is ensuring that every child who walks through our doors receives: hot breakfast to start their day with energy and focus and nutritious lunch to sustain them through afternoon activities.

This August, our well-fed children are preparing for something incredible; KIBRA RISING, a dance production featuring 45 young talented dancers and learning through educational games, creative arts and forming friendships in a safe, nurturing environment.Every meal you provide creates space for these moments of joy and growth.

We're excited to invite you to witness the highlight of our August holiday program on August 24th at the Kenya National Theatre, featuring them. This performance is proof of what proper nutrition and consistent support can achieve.

While we celebrate this achievement, the need continues year-round. When schools reopen, we remain committed to enhancing their nutritional needs through your support, which includes;
