A kindness today can change a child's tomorrow

By Julia Matthew | Managing Director

 Dear Patron,

Greetings from El Shaddai. We bring to you our latest report on “After Care Support”.

In the “After care support programme, all children aged 18 and above reside at the El Shaddai Cottages. These children are at their important stage of their lives where they become young adults and need our help and support to successfully integrate into independent adult life covering needs like financial support, vocational training, and guidance. We at El Shaddai work towards improving the quality of care within existing institutions to ensure a stable and thriving future for our children.

The children from this programme are currently pursuing further studies like graduation courses, working in hotels, fashion stores, and we also have our children who are doing trainings in various fields at the El Shaddai centers.

We have a story of a girl named Aishwarya (name changed). She was living in Karnataka with her family. Everything was going well in her life, but happiness did not last for long. Her mother passed away due to an illness and her father abandoned her. A kind relative took her in, but he too due to financial problems could not look after her for long. The relative heard about our Homes and enrolled her at one of our homes named “Rainbow House”. She completed her higher secondary schooling and was interested in learning Graphic designing. She did her training at our El Shaddai office and her work was found to be very creative and artistic.  She started working with the El Shaddai team of Graphic designers. She is very happy now as her dreams came true.

We at El Shaddai Charitable Trust are able to help all these children only because of your incredible kindness and commitment to our children. We extend our deepest gratitude for all the love and support given for the cause of aiding underprivileged children. With your support, we are able to offer a safe and nurturing environment where these children can not only learn but also grow into confident young individuals."

With Gratitude

Sincerely

El Shaddai family.
